A research terminal for US stocks and ETFs
Valence shows company data next to public records: Congress trades, insider filings, 13F holdings, lobbying spend and federal contracts. It runs in your browser. Nothing on the site is investment advice.
What Valence is
Each US stock and ETF has an overview page with the quote, a price chart, key metrics and a company or fund summary. Deeper tabs cover financials, statistics, dividends, options and history.
Separate pages track trades disclosed by members of Congress, insider filings, the 13F holdings of a set of large investment managers, lobbying spend and federal contract awards. There are also screeners, calendars and a heatmap.
Valence is built on an open-source stock research terminal. It is not run by or affiliated with that project.

Where the data comes from
Prices, company financials and option chains come from a third-party market data provider. Public filings come from the government sources named above, mainly SEC EDGAR, the Clerk of the House, USAspending and the Treasury.
Congress trades are read from open data projects that republish the official House and Senate disclosure filings. Each trade keeps the filing id it came from.
