The Target Index includes municipal bonds issued in the state of New York, primarily those issued by New York state or local governments or agencies whose interest payments are exempt from U.S. federal income taxes (including the federal alternative minimum tax (AMT)) and New York state income taxes. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in the bonds that make up the Target Index. It is non-diversified.
